Feel like a Girl Boss
Now that we are a couple months into the New Year, we should have our shit together. Seems easy, right? Maybe not so much. The New Year can mean a lot of changes, goals, inspirations and new perspectives and sometimes it can get the best of us.
I’ve learned that one way to reboot the new year is to reinvent your style. Looking good and feeling good when you’re getting ready to start the day can make all the difference. If you have no where to go, just taking the time to look your best can make you feel inspired and motivated.
Here are some looks to make you feel and think like a #girlboss.
While statement necklaces are still in, lately i’ve been into the saying that “less is more.” I mean this in the sense that while I have plenty of statement necklaces still, I’ve been reverting to my simpler, dainty jewelry that I can wear daily. It’s a great way to stick to your professional look during the week but also a great accent piece for a night out in town with a low-cut blouse. You can’t go wrong!
If you don’t have a good piece of jewelry that you can wear with anything, it’s time to invest in one! Vrai & Oro has just the necklaces for you.
The next accessory that I’d like to show you is one of my favorite iPhone cases. I don’t know why, but I’ve grown to love all things marble. Of course not real marble when it comes to accessories (that was a joke).
I’ve had my marble iPhone case for a few months now and I’m obsessed with it. It’s a clean and classy look to dress up your phone and you can get your own without breaking the bank. Check it out here. There’s one for your computer too on Etsy.
If you’re a world traveler like me, a watch like this is perfect for when you have the itch to travel the world, but can’t at the moment.
Just take a look at your wrist and the world is right there 😉
Get it here.
How about your own little black wristlet? This is perfect for every day errands or a night in the city to fit your necessities (because let’s face it, we have a lot).
Just like a LBD, this will match with everything and help with that sophistication boost when you’re out and about.
Get it at Henri Bendel.

Sometimes I think I’ll never grow up because I will *never* get sick of headbands.
In fact, I will never get sick of hair accessories. If you’re like me then you’re in luck.
Come on ladies–spring is here and it’s time to wash your hair and get those beach waves out.
I made a list of my favorite hair accessories so you will be spring ready from head to toe (literally).
You don’t have to attend Coachella to let your inner spirit out. Splurge at free people.
Or go a step further and go with the floral gear.
Everyone loves polka dots. Get them at ruche.
Not a fan of headbands? Good thing hair clips were invented.
Hair ties are back! (?) Get em’ at nasty gal.
Sometimes simple is better. Get the look at zara.

The new way to wear jewelry.
Gold jewelry tattoos have become the one of the latest fashion trends.
They are like the tattoos we would get at carnivals when we were kids–the kind that you dab some water on your skin and wa-la! These are just higher quality. They last for a week or two if you take care of them but you can also rub them off with some soap and water.
They are unique, fun and super cool.
If you want to stand out and make a statement, this will definitely do the trick!
Here are some fun pieces that I think would be fun to try this fall:
You can stack fun tattoo braceletes with the La Femme line. The good news–you can rock these for a few days.
Love rings? Get fun details and colors at Etsy.
Going somewhere special? Paste this gold necklace on and you will most certainly have the coolest jewelry. The best part…it won’t be jingling around your neck all night!
Jewelry tattoos are also great because you can treat them like actual tattoos. If you’re not allowed/don’t want to get something permanent you can get fun designs and put them in different places. You can find these at Everything but Water.
Get these at flash tattoos.
What’s On Your Agenda?
Get organized this year with these fun school supplies.
Even though people returned to school a few weeks ago, it’s never too late to buy fun school supplies.
How boring are No. #2 pencils, black agendas and green spiral notebooks? The answer is very boring. As if having an 8AM or taking a math class was bad enough, boring supplies make it worse. It’s kind of like going to the gym–you buy fun workout clothes and you’re more likely to want to go to the gym (I think?).
Check out some fun accessories that will go beyond your doodling days.
You can go to class and feel like royalty with this Kate Spade gold dot agenda.
Or you can be cool and have even more books on your Kate Spade agenda. There are different sizes as well as motivating and enlightening quotes for the beginning of every month.
2. Pencils & Pens
Get these cool pens from Urban Outfitters that also can be used as drum sticks (whaaaatt?).
If you’re a colorful person, you have all sorts of colored pens that you can use for different classes. Get these pens at Kate Spade for only $20.00.
Get personal by customizing your own notebook with your initials. Get your custom supplies on Etsy.
Black and white stripes never go out of style. Get this classic Kate Spade spiral notebook now.
You can always use various notebooks from Kate Spade for your different classes.
4. Desk Stationary
You can get this fun staple in different colors from Urban Outfitters.
Can’t afford a ticket to Paris? Bring Paris to you with these Eiffel Tower scissors.
If you’re not into regular pink erasers, these patterned erasers might be just the thing for you.
Or try these gem erasers.

Back to School
Since Pre-K, it was always exciting to pick out your new backpack for the school year (or maybe that’s just me). I sure had my fair share of princesses, hello kitty, glittery backpacks. Once you hit middle school/junior high, it’s not cool to wear backpacks anymore. Instead, you buy a purse and call it a backpack–not to mention you stuff as much as you can in it to make a point to your parents.
When you’re in high school, you give up the whole purse-as-a-backpack ordeal since your parents were against it because you realize that backpacks are everything. College is another level. Everyone has their own preference on what they want to put their stuff in for school (or not). For the sake of my neck and shoulders, I spent my college years walking around campus (happily) with a backpack. There definitely are backpacks that are manly and bulky, but not all are like that.
In fact, there are actually a lot of cute and useful ones.
This classic black bag from Etsy is simple. Backpacks tend to get dirty from being on the ground and everywhere else. Black is the perfect color because it won’t get dirty as easy.
The nautical look is timeless. It may be a little loud to some people, but it’s a fun pattern. Get the look at Lulus.
Or this flirty and girly Kendall & Kylie Madden Girl backpack.
This leather backpack from Etsy is classy with lace and would be the perfect fall school bag.
Or get this bohemian feel with this fun print and leather. It even has side pockets for a water bottle and your cell phone (score). Get the look from Nordstrom.
This leather Tory Burch backpack is a MUST for the fall!

Collars: Not Just for Dogs
Cloth, metal, beaded or jewels, collars are a beautiful accessory. Much like a necklace, collars can really dress up a blouse. There are also many different types of collar necklaces and with that comes many different looks. Collar necklaces can be either bold (statement piece) or it can be smaller and simple. Either way, it can make an outfit. Here are different types of collar necklaces and when to wear them:

I say this with extreme confidence that the majority of people have iPhones. If you don’t, you’re not human. Just kidding. There are the other kinds of phones, but let’s be real, iPhones are pretty fricking cool. They do have some downfalls–the price, battery life and the fact that you pretty much have to buy everything new with the newest phones.
When you first get your beloved iPhone, you swear that this time you’re going to get the heaviest-duty case so that it won’t fall and shatter the screen. Let’s be real though, a thin, colorful phone cover is much more appealing (and lighter) than a box for a phone.
While this post is not about the safety of your phone (I learned the hard way that I had to buy a screen protector), it is about accessorizing your phone.
This adorable clear floral case is perfect for the spring and the summer. If you use your phone a lot (which is most likely a yes), then you will enjoy this colorful accessory. Get it at Moorea Seal for only $30.00.
Or you can get this fresh look also at Moorea Seal for $30.00.
Or these fresh daisies at Moorea Seal for only $30.00.
One of the hottest trends these days is to monogram everything. If you’re unsure about what to monogram but love the style, custom your very own at Etsy where there are tons of different looks.
Get this galaxy feel at Etsy for only $21.99.
If you don’t have some extra money to buy a phone case and you want to switch it up, you can take a solid-colored case and use some sharpies to make your own design!
Everyone loves Elephants. Get this cute case from Etsy.
Nautical is perfect for those weekends on the boat. Get the look at Luulla.
Have Paris at your fingertips. Get it at Chic Wish.
Because everyone can use some fur and bling. Get it at Etsy.
Paris, bling and pink flowers?! Yes please. Get it at Luulla.
Give your phone a boho makeover with this Free People cover.

To Infinity & Beyond
The infinity symbol has become extremely popular throughout the past couple years. It’s a simple symbol that means so much. They are on clothes, accessories, home decor patterns and make good tattoos. You don’t have to have a boyfriend to have an infinity necklace, ring or earrings (it’s overrated). There is a lot of cute jewelry and accessories with the infinity symbol.
Another variation of love and infinity at Etsy.
Get this adorable heart and infinity ring on Etsy.
This ring can be found on Etsy and can be a regular ring or knuckle ring.
Get a diamond infinity bracelete at Etsy.
This type of bracelet is great if you love Alex & Ani. As you are probably aware, those bracelets can be a little pricey if you don’t have the luxury to spend a few dollars on accessories. Get this look-a-like at Etsy for only $19.00.

Every girl could use a good clutch. It’s the perfect accessory to have; smaller than a purse yet bigger than a wallet. It’s light, small and it can say a lot about your personality. If you’re planning a long night out and not sure of where the night will take you, you can pack the essentials in your bag without it becoming too much. This is what one may find in a clutch for a night out:
Apartment keys (this is important)
ID and Debit cards (maybe some cash but who really has cash on them these days?)
Extra pair of contacts (because you never want to be blind on a night out in case of an unexpected occurrence) and maybe some eye drops
iPhone (or else) and charger
Band aids (you’ll thank yourself later because lets face it, those heels are NOT as comfortable as you think)
Maybe it’s just me and my OCD but I like to always have a little extra packed with me on a night out. You’ll be the girl that all the others are envying and annoyed with your over-preparedness. The beautiful thing about all this…all those things really don’t take up that much room in a bag! Consider it travel size.
If you’re asking yourself what type of clutch you would want, here are some different styles and sizes so now you can go out without carrying a massive tote.
All hail Tory Burch. I know, it’s not the cheapest brand around but it’s certainly not the most expensive. The quality of her products are amazing, not to mention they are classy and timeless. A black Tory Burch clutch matches with everything. It shows that you can be simple but like nice things. It’s the best of both worlds. Get the look from the website.
If you love beading and sequins (who doesn’t), then you will love this unique European clutch. If you rock this for a night out I can assure you that you will be standing out. If you’re wearing a simple outfit, this would balance it out great. You can look chic without trying too hard. The best news: this is extremely affordable! Check it out at New Look.
I spent a few minutes freaking out over how cute this clutch is. After I thought it was too good to be true, I looked at the price and my eyes popped out of my head (in the best way possible). This beauty is only 39.99 (gasps). Get this at Dorothy Perkins.
If you want more of a bold/bright look, the Dorothy Perkins line has multiple fun colors on the website. You can’t beat the price (such as this 17.00 clutch).
This clutch screams fu and flirty. It may be too loud if you’re already wearing a printed blouse, pants or dress. It would compliment your outfit however if you’re wearing a solid color dress or skinny jeans and a bright top. This is also a great clutch that you would want to bring on vacation. That is if you are going somewhere tropical. Find it on Etsy. There are more designs too!
This clutch is also flirty but in a completely different way. This is more of the edgy, hard look if that’s what you’re trying to go for. Find it on Miss Selfridge, where you can also find different color schemes of the same style.
This clutch is more of a hipster, bohemian type. It’s very authentic and looks European. Like one of the previous clutches, this can clash with an outfit if you’re already wearing busy prints. Get it at ASOS for a very affordable price.
With a few options, hopefully there is a clutch for different girls. The most important thing however, is that you can always have more clutches 🙂
